    Team Millennium Considers Solutions

Team Millennium students have learned about the impact of economics on people, both in our own community and in the world at-large. While our study of the economy in the United States has only begun, it is never too soon to consider how changes within the system can have both positive and negative effects. Here, Millennium students gather their new and growing knowledge of microeconomics to consider what changes should occur in order for our families to more successfully face the current economic crisis.

The following guiding questions lead Millennium students to their current economic discoveries:

    • How does the economic system in which we live impact our choices?

    • How do the choices we make influence our daily lives?

    • How does change within a system cause conflict?

    • What can be done differently within the system so the system can better meet people's needs?

Select one of the following proposal topics (GOVERNMENT or FAMILY) in order to read Millennium Students' proposals:

    • Government: Describe the single most powerful solution to the economic crisis facing our families today.

    • Family: Describe the most powerful ways for American families to successfully navigate the current economic crisis.
